DIVE SASK

2 Bronze medals, a personal best and a broken record – a great weekend for our two Juniors at Winter Senior Nationals held in Saskatoon last weekend.  Margo Erlam won a bronze medal on 3m, setting a personal best and breaking the Saskatchewan record that she herself had set at Western Canada Summer Games last year.  Rylan Wiens also won

Our 2019-20 season kicked off with a celebration of the Top Divers, Coaches, Officials, Volunteers and Coaches of 2019 at our Annual Awards Gala in Saskatoon.  Rylan Wiens and Margo Erlam came out on top, winning both Top Group A and Top Senior athlete awards. Saskatoon Diving Club won Top Novice Team and Top Senior Team.  Regina Diving Club won

The Sport of Diving hasn’t been in the Western Canada Summer Games since 2007, but it was a big comeback for our sport and definitely for Team Sask who won 7 of the available 12 Diving medals.  The ending was especially satisfying as our girls swept the final event podium on the 3m event.  Medals went to:  Margo Erlam, GOLD

Congratulations to two Regina Diving Club athletes who brought medals home from the 2019 Speedo JD Nationals held at their home pool.  Amelia Sharp won the Bronze medal on Group C Platform.  Lila Stewart, Group D, had an amazing meet winning Bronze on 3m, Silver on 1m and Gold on Platform, which also came with a spot on Team Canada

It was a great weekend at the Speedo Jr Elite National Championships and Team Sask brought home a load of medals – 10 in all!  Rylan Wiens also broke a Sask 10M record AND snagged a place on the Pan Am Jr team heading to Chile in August.  To top it off, Bjorn Markentin of Regina Diving Club won the
