DIVE SASK

Saskatchewan athletes brought home medals AND records from Ontario Provincials in Toronto last weekend.  Of the 6 athletes who attended, 8 medals were earned.  The most successful athlete of the weekend was Rylan Wiens who won 4 medals – 2 Gold and 2 Bronze.  Bjorn Markentin and Jamie Spilchak each won a Silver and a Bronze.  And Austen Guerrero-Bennett and Damian Spilchak were close with a 4th place each.  Rylan Wiens wasn’t satisfied to win medals though – he also set a new Saskatchewan record on Group C Platform – a record he had set last year, broke last month at SK Provincials and now broke again by almost 10 points.  Great job boys and coach Mary Carroll.
